Daily Meditation: A Meditation for Feeling Insecure
Feeling insecure? This will help.
We’re gonna mess around with your root chakra today. Just rile it up a bit, no big deal.
Muladhara chakra, or your rootedness, it located at the based of your spine, a crimson orb hovering between your tailbone and your pubic symphysis.
It’s your connection to your earthly self in that it’s your source of earthly energy; it keeps you grounded here in your body.
Imagine roots growing down through the base of your spine, through the earth below you. Just as roots would seek out fertile earth to nurture themselves, so too are you drawing energy up from the earth.
The trick is to do it deliberately; otherwise, the energy can drain out.
This is when you experience that flighty anxiety, that insecurity, that fear of what’s going to happen;
when you can’t catch onto a single thought;
when everything gets too overwhelming and you just want to crawl into a hole.
That’s a root chakra imbalance, is all!
We can fix it!
The more grounded and surefooted you are, the more easily you are able to process all the stuff that happens around you without letting it send you into a tizzy.
We’re gonna do some circular breathing to bring that sense of calm, rooted grounding to your community.
It’s pretty easy; all you have to do is breathe.
You’ve got 5 minutes.
Make it happen.
