The Yoga Sutras: Here Is the Root of Your Suffering
Here is the root of your suffering: Every lie that’s ever been sold to you is about disconnecting you from oneness.
The Essential Yoga Sutra says, “The most important day in our spiritual journey is the day that we stop seeing things the wrong way.”
As humans, we are all interconnected.
Bound by the unique traits, characteristics, and experiences that define us as humans.
We seem to put a veil over that interconnectedness, disregarding it as we move through life.
We ignore the very essence that unites us as one.
If you take anything away from this, I want it to be for you to learn how to dwell within your own real nature, which is:
✨ connected
✨ united
✨ one
There comes a wonderful, life-changing time when we have this great realization and we see the world for what it truly is.
The Essential Yoga Sutra tells us: “It only lasts for a brief time, the first time. And then, despite ourselves, we go back to making the same old mental mistake. But for a few minutes, we see the way we really are: we see that we are not at all the way we always thought we were.”
The “Path of Seeing” can have a powerful impact on our lives. We see this realization within our minds, not with our eyes.
Individualism doesn’t serve people.
Anything that feels like separation from the energy around you is a lie. It’s a trick of the mind.
Anything that doesn't feel like love is a test of how quickly you will come back to your true nature, your oneness.
Oneness is an experience of connection. It’s something you feel, not something you force… which is quite the opposite of what we’ve been doing.
We are connected by:
💛 Empathy
💛 Vulnerability
💛 Communication
💛 Love
And disconnected by:
💛 Politics
💛 Greediness
💛 Individualism
💛 Ego
Be mindful of the things designed to tear us apart.
How can you bring more awareness into each day?
Into how you react to political posts?
Think of the ways you can work towards oneness versus separation.
