5 Vegan Thanksgiving Recipes You MUST Try!

Y’all, the holiday season is upon us! It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and 2020 is nearing its end. (which couldn’t come sooner, am I right?)

If you know me, you know I’m vegan. One of the biggest misconceptions about veganism is that it’s a lifestyle only filled with salad, raw vegetables, and weird kinds of plant-based milk. I’ll give you the weird milk one, but we can pretty much veganize anything these days.

I scoped out 5 vegan Thanksgiving recipes you MUST try this year! Normally, I would say that these are the dishes you’re going to bring for yourself to eat, but this year will look quite different. We’ll save our Tupperware bringing tactics for 2021.

If you’re cooking for 1-2 people, you can freeze some of these recipes for later or get creative and find ways to repurpose the dishes. Honestly, they look so good you probably won’t have to do either!

Although Thanksgiving is a holiday centered around non-vegan food items, vegans don’t have to miss out! Here are 5 vegan Thanksgiving dinner recipes you must try!

This ooey-gooey mac and cheese is a Thanksgiving game-changer! This veganized classic is super creamy and topped with golden breadcrumbs. The crazy part? There’s absolutely NO vegan cheese in it!

Alison Andrews from Loving It Vegan really outdid herself on this one. She says herself that this vegan mac and cheese tastes “like the best comfort food ever!”

2. Simple Vegan Stuffing

Stuffing is a staple on the Thanksgiving dinner table. Thankfully, the Minimalist Baker has concocted the perfect plant-based replacement. 100% deliciousness with 0% violence.

This hearty vegan stuffing is crispy on the outside yet moist on the inside. This dish is freezer friendly for up to 1 month! I don’t know about you but I love a good Thanksgiving sandwich (or 5) post-Thanksgiving week.

This vegan apple galette with peanut butter caramel blows all other Thanksgiving desserts out of the water! Sorry, pumpkin pie. Not going to lie I kind of drooled a little bit when I first saw this recipe.

This apple galette is filled with sweet cinnamon-spiced apples, wrapped in a flaky homemade crust, and drizzled with a peanut butter caramel sauce.

Top this with your favorite vegan ice cream to really complete the dish. I guarantee you this is going to be your new go-to fall-winter dessert recipe!
